Does anyone else
ever feel like people who write contemporary poetry try too hard to be weird? Like I don’t mean that weird poetry is bad or that contemporary, but if it seems like you’re forcing it, then it reads oddly. You know? Though I suppose the same thing could be applied to all aspects of writing, this is just something that I have noticed recently.
